Mount Sinai’s Institute for Advanced Medicine is seeking a Psychologist at an HIV and LGBTQ+ Ambulatory Care Clinic at Mount Sinai Hospital. The Department of Psychiatry at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City is pleased to announce a three day/week psychologist position at the Institute for Advanced Medicine ambulatory care clinic at Mount Sinai Hospital. Responsibilities at IAM include outpatient evaluations and individual and group psychotherapy with patients in a medical clinic specialized in serving people living with HIV and LGBTQ+ people. The position includes faculty appointment commensurate with experience in the Department of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Additional opportunities for faculty practice, teaching, and/or clinical research exist. Salary is competitive. Qualified candidates will be licensed psychologists in the state of New York. Bilingual, English & Spanish speaking applicants are desired. We provide care to individuals with a broad range of mental illnesses using a team approach, including psychopharmacological care and individual and group therapy.
