About The Position

Beyond Expectation, a multifaceted mental health practice, provides a combination of psychiatric and psychological services in the Las Vegas valley. We are seeking an independently Licensed Clinical Psychologist to provide Testing services for our Las Vegas community in a non-discriminatory and culturally competent manner. Clinicians should be able to provide psychological evaluations to children, teens, and adults to assess current levels of functioning and provide insight regarding cognitive abilities, personality characteristics, and social skills difficulties.

Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice independently as an LP.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrate competency in the administration, scoring, and interpretation of various standardized instruments.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological evaluations to children, teens, and adults.
• Assess current levels of functioning and provide insight regarding cognitive abilities, personality characteristics, and social skills difficulties.
• Critically analyze issues related to cognitive ability and achievement.
• Administer, score, and interpret various standardized instruments designed to assess cognitive and intellectual functioning.
• Review and prepare written reports that summarize, interpret, and integrate assessment results with recommendations for prevention and intervention.
• Demonstrate competency in the assessment of personality and administer, record, score, and interpret specific measures of personality.
• Integrate cognitive and personality assessment data into a comprehensive report that includes a diagnosis, formulation, and recommendations for further action.
• Emphasize ethical test use in a diverse society and link assessment results to appropriate interventions and practice.
• Work independently and within a team.
