About The Position

St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is seeking a licensed psychologist for the outpatient behavioral health program. The position will primarily focus on neurodevelopmental assessment, with the potential for additional opportunities to support behavioral health services across primary and specialty care practices on our main hospital campus. Prior experience with the assessment of autism spectrum disorders, specifically use of the ADOS-2 and other assessment tools is preferred. Candidates should have a background in clinical, school, or pediatric psychology, and experience in the assessment and treatment of pediatric behavioral health disorders. Experience in medical settings is preferred though not required. The clinician should have a broad knowledge base of evidenced based treatment approaches for pediatric developmental and behavioral health disorders, including experience with behavioral interventions and psychotherapeutic strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse demographic of clients and providing culturally and linguistically responsive care.

Requirements

  • Licensed psychologist.
  • Background in clinical, school, or pediatric psychology.
  • Experience in the assessment and treatment of pediatric behavioral health disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct neurodevelopmental assessments.

  • Supervise psychology interns and support learners including psychology externs, medical students, residents, and fellows.
