About The Position
Wall Therapeutic Solutions is not your average outpatient provider. We’re a collaborative, clinician-led team redefining what it means to deliver meaningful, person-centered care. We’re currently seeking a passionate and flexible Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our Therapeutic Consultation team in Lynchburg, VA. Psychological Therapeutic Consultation is a clinical service that addresses challenges and symptoms with the individual and their team to increase quality of life and support personalized goal achievement. This is a part-time position with flexible hours and the opportunity to design your own caseload. You’ll provide psychological therapeutic consultation in a hybrid model—offering in-person sessions in our clinic or clients’ homes, as well as telehealth sessions. Unlike outpatient therapy, clinician involvement is not limited to an office setting or to the individual alone. This team-based approach allows the clinician to collaborate across environments to address factors affecting the person’s ability to reach their potential.
Requirements
- Active LCSW or LPC (or eligibility)
- Experience working with people with developmental or intellectual disabilities as well as mental health challenges
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A passion for strengths-based, person-centered care
Nice To Haves
- Experience in outpatient and therapeutic settings is a plus
- Familiarity with assistive technology tools is highly valued
Responsibilities
- Conduct a Biopsychosocial-Spiritual Assessment
- Observe the individual in routine activities and interactions with others in their natural environment
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic consultation, including assistive technology recommendations and implementation strategies
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Assess progress and adjust goals as needed
- Deliver therapy that’s meaningful, engaging, and effective
