About The Position
Under close supervision, provides psychological services by applying psychological principles in the following major areas: assessment, treatment, research, training and clinical consultation. The position involves providing a full range of professional psychological services relating to the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric and co-occurring disorders, including selecting, administering, and interpreting various types of psychological testing instruments, and providing individual, group, and family therapy. The role also includes generating reports of diagnostic and psychological findings and/or treatment recommendations, performing direct service activities, and utilizing a variety of treatment modalities such as psychotherapy and behavior modification. The position requires evaluating client response to treatment, modifying treatment strategies, and participating in multidisciplinary treatment team activities.
