About The Position

Join a collaborative, team-oriented behavioral health practice consisting of 2 Psychiatrists, 2 APPs, behavioral health therapists, nurses and supportive office staff. Board certified/board eligible psychiatrist will provide outpatient psychiatric care. Ideal candidate will be comfortable seeing patients across the lifespan, including adolescent and pediatric populations. Opportunity to provide continuity of care for patients transitioning to inpatient treatment setting. Monday-Friday daytime schedule with shared call responsibility one night/week. EPIC EMR H1B & J1 waivers accepted.

Requirements

• Physician licensed to practice medicine in the current state.
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
• Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
• Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
• Meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
