Requirements

• MD/DO
• Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)

Responsibilities

• Review and oversee clinical charts for four virtual Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality standards
• Conduct ongoing check-ins and meetings with APPs to support performance, development, and overall success
• Serve as a point of contact for APPs, responding to questions and calls as needed within reasonable scope
• Review, approve, and sign off on clinical documentation in a timely and compliant manner
