About The Position

We are seeking an Addiction Psychiatrist -- Substance Use Disorder Medical Director in the busy Northern Virginia area, just outside of Washington, DC. The role involves working closely with hospital leadership in expanding the substance use disorder services within our 116-bed behavioral health facility. The position offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient practice, with the opportunity to engage in other psychiatry services if desired, including ECT.

Requirements

• Board eligible/board certified in Psychiatry
• Fellowship training or certification in Addiction Psychiatry preferred

Responsibilities

• Work closely with hospital leadership to expand substance use disorder services
• Practice a mix of inpatient and outpatient psychiatry
• Engage in other psychiatry services, including ECT, if desired
