About The Position

The Psychiatry Account Manager at Lundbeck is responsible for promoting the company's psychiatry portfolio within the Atlanta East territory. This role involves executing sales and marketing strategies, utilizing clinical knowledge to drive sales performance, and addressing commercialization challenges in a dynamic environment. The position requires strong business planning, customer development, and expertise in the local market and therapeutic areas, with a focus on building relationships and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales, or related healthcare sales.
  • Demonstrated intellectual capacity to excel in disease and product training exams.
  • Strong work ethic and outstanding communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries and possess a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience within a specialty product sales force.
  • Experience promoting products specific to CNS/neuroscience, including depression and schizophrenia.
  • Documented successful sales performance.
  • Experience in developing and executing integrated account plans.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with sales data reporting tools.
  • Experience in product launches and working with alliance partners.
