About The Position

Psychiatrist Monte Nido River Towns Irvington, NY Monte Nido & Affiliates has been delivering treatment for eating disorders for over two decades. Our programs offer a model of treatment that blends medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting. We are seeking a Psychiatrist to work at Monte Nido River Towns located in Irvington, NY. The Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric services to adult females with our residential program. Flexible schedule: approximately 10 hours/week. Most of the work is remote, with weekly rounds on-site. Requirements

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited program.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in General/Adult Psychiatry at minimum; Completion of Child/Adolescent Fellowship preferred.
  • Active and unrestricted Medical License (or license-eligible).
  • Must hold BLS/CPR prior to starting work; we can arrange training if needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of Child/Adolescent Fellowship preferred.
  • Comfort working in both outpatient and inpatient settings is very helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial Psychiatric evaluations and weekly follow-up sessions to include psychotropic medication management.
  • Maintain current and proper progress notes.
  • Collaborate with the full treatment team as needed and provide patient-specific input for Discharge Planning.
  • Communicate with referring providers and family members as appropriate.
  • Maintain compliance with all standards set by agencies with oversight of this facility.
