About The Position

As a Psychiatrist at RiseWell Community Services, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health care to individuals in need. This position is essential in supporting our mission to enrich the lives of community members through effective treatment and compassionate care.

In this role you will, provide psychiatric, medical assessment and treatment to consumers in PROS and OASAS programs. Provide Supervision and oversight of agency Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and clinical support to programs outside department as needed. Potential for advancement to Associate Chief Medical Officer.

This position is split between our PROS program in Patchogue & OASAS program in Copiague.

Requirements

• Currently licensed as a physician by the NYS Education Department and certified by, or be eligible to be certified by, the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
• Valid and clean NY State driver license.
• Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from NYS Office of Mental Health

Responsibilities
