About The Position

Med-Care Providers is a growing healthcare organization serving the Las Vegas community through compassionate, patient-centered home and telehealth care. We specialize in primary care, mental health, and integrated home health services for adults and seniors. We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Psychiatrist (MD or DO) to join our behavioral health team. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, open to innovative treatment approaches (including telehealth and home visits), and eager to collaborate in an interdisciplinary environment.

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Completed psychiatry residency
Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
Licensed or eligible for licensure in Nevada
Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with geriatric, home-based, or telepsychiatry preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations (in-person and telehealth)
Diagnose and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
Collaborate with primary care providers, therapists, and nursing staff to ensure coordinated care
Document all encounters accurately and timely in the EHR
Participate in case conferences and quality improvement initiatives
