JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Psychiatrist • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Mansfield Center, CT • Service Setting: Outpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: Oct 21, 2026 – Nov 17, 2026 • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00a – 5:00p (One late day Thursday 11:30a – 7:00p) COVERAGE DATES • Oct 21-23, 26-30 • Nov 2-6, 9-13, 16-17 PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults • Patient Volume/Census: Typical IOP/PHP program census • Admissions: Yes • Case Mix: Behavioral Health, Adult IOP/PHP population FACILITY INFORMATION • Office Equipment Available: Standard outpatient behavioral health resources • Specialty Backup Available: Behavioral Health team • Support Staff Available: Multidisciplinary behavioral health staff • Reason for Coverage: Temporary coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered per facility guidelines REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Psychiatric evaluations • Medication management • Treatment planning for IOP/PHP patients • Collaboration with behavioral health care teams • Documentation of patient encounters
Requirements
- Active CT license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- DEA: Required
- Experience in Behavioral Health and IOP/PHP settings preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills

Responsibilities
