About The Position
You will direct medical treatment to members served within the scope of your Psychiatrist licensure. You will participate in the leadership of the program by participating and communicating with Program staff and members served. You participate in the leadership of the program by ensuring superior quality medical practices that meet and exceed licensure requirements, payer standards and client and community needs. This is a “whatever it takes” model of intensive and assertive community-based wraparound services designed to help 100 clients stabilize and avoid further episodes of homelessness, hospitalization and incarceration. Telecare’s IFSP program will consist of three multidisciplinary teams that include clinicians and professionals from psychiatry, nursing, substance abuse, peer support, housing, employment/education, and other relevant fields. Based on their areas of expertise, team members will collaborate and deliver integrated services, monitor progress toward goals, and adjust services over time to meet clients’ changing needs.
Requirements
- A medical degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association and successful completion of residency training program in psychiatry
- Active DEA in good standing
