About The Position
Job Title: Physician – Psychiatry Job Type: Locum Tenens – Full -Time Location: Morgantown, WV Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Coverage Type: Clinical Only Start Date: July 1, 2026 Contract Length: 3 Months Patient Demographics: Adult Patients Average Daily Volume / Census: 11 to 16 patients per day depending on appointment length Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: Psychiatric evaluations, medication management, medication checks with therapy Beds in Department/Unit: 25 beds EMR System: Cerner Reason for Coverage: Supplemental locum coverage
Requirements
- Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Active West Virginia license required or eligibility to obtain
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Experience with medication checks and medication management with therapy
