Position Summary: Revere Health is seeking a psychiatrist to serve as an integral member of the primary care and behavioral health team, providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management in an integrated care setting. The Psychiatrist collaborates closely with primary care providers, care managers, behavioral health specialists, and other team members to ensure coordinated, whole-person care and improve access to mental health services. As a member of the primary care and behavioral health team, the Psychiatrist expands access to mental health services, supports providers and care teams, and contributes to high-quality, coordinated, value-based care for Revere Health patients.

  • Conduct psychiatric assessments, including diagnostic evaluations, risk assessments, and treatment planning.
  • Provide medication management and ongoing monitoring for patients with psychiatric conditions.
  • Deliver evidence-based recommendations to primary care providers and behavioral health team members.
  • Provide consultative psychiatric input for patients seen within primary care, including complex or high-risk cases.
  • Serve as a member of the primary care and behavioral health team, participating in huddles, case reviews, and collaborative care meetings.
  • Support primary care providers and behavioral health staff with psychiatric consultation and treatment guidance.
  • Collaborate with care managers and social workers to ensure follow-up, patient safety, and access to community resources.
  • Participate in integrated care initiatives and value-based care programs to improve patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families regarding psychiatric conditions, medications, and treatment plans.
  • Promote patient engagement, adherence to treatment, and self-management strategies.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Follow evidence-based guidelines and Revere Health policies for psychiatric care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and population health efforts.
  • MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
  • Active Utah medical license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
  • DEA registration with prescribing authority for controlled substances.
  • Experience working in outpatient or integrated care settings preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with primary care teams in integrated behavioral health models.
  • Familiarity with the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) or similar team-based approaches.
  • Experience with trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, or brief interventions.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Patient-centered approach to care with emphasis on integrated care and coordination.
  • Ability to manage a diverse patient population and function effectively within team-based workflows.
  • Proficiency with EHR documentation and population health tools.
