TCPA is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to provide psychiatric care to patients in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, independent living communities, and memory care settings. Our providers deliver on-site medical care directly where patients live, partnering with facility staff, home health, hospice teams, and family members to ensure patients receive comprehensive, coordinated care. This role is ideal for a psychiatrist who enjoys working with geriatric or medically complex patients, collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams, and improving quality of life for vulnerable populations. What You’ll Do Patient Care Conduct psychiatric evaluations for patients residing in skilled nursing, assisted living, and memory care communities Diagnose and treat psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, dementia-related behaviors, and other mental health disorders Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric follow-up Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with facility staff and other healthcare providers Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust care plans accordingly Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record Collaborative Care Work closely with facility nursing staff, primary care providers, therapists, hospice teams, and families Participate in care coordination to support continuity of care Provide guidance regarding behavioral health management for facility teams when appropriate Quality & Compliance Maintain compliance with federal, state, and regulatory requirements Participate in clinical quality initiatives that improve patient outcomes Ensure best practices for psychiatric care in long-term care environments
