Requirements

MD or DO with active Pennsylvania medical license (or eligibility).
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without accommodation

Nice To Haves

Board certification or fellowship training in Addiction Medicine, Addiction Psychiatry, or related specialty preferred.
Experience in detoxification, withdrawal management, or substance use treatment.
Enthusiasm for program development and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Responsibilities

Lead the creation of clinical protocols and workflows for the detox program, including:
Medication order sets
Withdrawal management pathways
Vital sign monitoring standards
Safety and escalation parameters
Partner with clinical and administrative teams to design EHR documentation templates, order sets, and decision‑support tools.
Provide direct medical care and oversight for individuals undergoing withdrawal management.
Serve as a clinical leader and resource for nursing and behavioral health staff.
Contribute to quality improvement, regulatory readiness, and long‑term program development.
Help shape the culture, identity, and future direction of Bright Path Center.
