About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Psychiatrist - Outpatient Clozapine Clinic to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Opportunity Details: Clinical lead of a new Clozapine clinic and is responsible for all aspects of patient care on the team, including safety and quality.

Requirements

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.
  • Active New York State Medical License.

Responsibilities

  • Complete admission assessment, with a focus on comprehensive risk assessment for all new intakes, and re-assessment of patients in a timely fashion consistent with policy.
  • Complete treatment plan documentation consistent with policy and appropriate to patients' risk level.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement, Quality Assurance and Clinical pertinence activities.
  • Participate in utilization review and management and maintain focus on patient experience, access to care, and operational efficiency.

Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary: $267,900 (board eligible); $278,200 (board certified) based on 40-hour work week.
  • Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
  • The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $398,690 (board eligible) and $410,020 (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401 (k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
  • Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000.
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
  • Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
