About The Position

Pembroke Hospital located in coastal Massachusetts is seeking a BE/BC Psychiatrist for inpatient services. The new associate will partner with an experienced multidisciplinary team comprised of psychiatrists, PMHNPs, and five therapists in meeting the unique psychiatric needs of older adults. This is a fantastic opportunity for a new graduate or experienced psychiatrist. The schedule is Monday – Friday and there is no call. Pembroke is a South Shore–suburb of the Boston metropolitan area. The town is located about halfway between Boston and Cape Cod. The location offers the best of both worlds with city access and coastal living.

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Experience in inpatient psychiatric services preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with older adult populations
• Interest in community mental health

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient psychiatric services to older adults
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, PMHNPs, and therapists
• Participate in treatment planning and patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
