About The Position

Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join a growing private practice group near Dallas TX. Become part of a group which delivers state-of-the-art care with a full service staff.

Requirements

• Psychiatrist License to practice in Texas.
• At least 2 years of experience in clinical settings.
• Must be able to maintain a consistent and dependable work schedule (8-5 M-F).
• Experience working with patients ages 16 and up, individually or with their families, as needed.
• Effective communicator, able to easily build and maintain relationships with patients.
• Working knowledge of EMR/EHR, highly organized, and an ability to problem-solve.

Nice To Haves

• Bi-lingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, identify, diagnose and treat patients with behavioral or emotional disorders for ages 16 and up.
• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medication and evaluate treatment results.
• Coordinate/communicate with the interdisciplinary team which includes physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and a team of therapists in managing patient challenges/behavioral dysfunction.
