About The Position

Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. (GLI) is seeking several Board-Certified Full-Time Psychiatrists to provide full time coverage in our dedicated team at a well known facility in Tuskegee, Alabama. As a leading healthcare provider, GLI is committed to delivering exceptional mental health services In this role, you will deliver comprehensive psychiatric care, including evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment planning. Your expertise in medication management and psychotherapy will be critical in developing effective treatment strategies for patients with varying mental health conditions. You will also participate in on-call rotations, ensuring timely and effective response to patient needs after hours. Your collaboration with other healthcare professionals will promote a supportive environment for patients and their families, while maintaining a focus on quality and patient satisfaction. 24/7/365 Emergency care Multi-site health system Main medical center On-call nights/weekends/holidays ER consults Inpatient psych coverage Outpatient clinics We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate professional(s) who is/are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals struggling with mental health challenges.

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Psychiatry.
  • Active medical license in the state of practice.
  • Demonstrated experience in psychiatric evaluation and treatment.
  • Ideal candidate will have 2–5 years post-residency clinical psychiatry experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call coverage as part of a proactive mental health team.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in high-volume behavioral health or hospital settings
  • Experience providing after-hours or on-call psychiatric coverage
  • Comfort working across multiple care sites within a healthcare system
  • Experience collaborating with social work, nursing, and case management teams

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans encompassing therapy and medication management.
  • Provide on-call psychiatric coverage and respond to emergency cases as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain up-to-date patient records with accurate documentation of treatments and progress.
  • Engage in continuous education to remain up-to-date with advancements in the field of psychiatry.
