Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Psychiatrist - Addiction Medicine to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln . Opportunity Details: Responsibility for clinical and educational activities in an outpatient practice, including participation in a multidisciplinary treatment team. Direct supervision of Psychologists, Social Workers, Psychiatric PA staff, and Medical Students. Participation in all activities related to clinical care and documentation of care, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and student supervision, education and training. Participate in our innovative integrative care activities. Directly and indirectly supervises psychiatrists and psychiatric PA staff. Participates in the management of complex cases in an administrative and consultative role. Maintains a good working relationship with services both within and outside of the department of psychiatry to ensure high-quality care for patients. Provides leadership in undergraduate medical education, including actively participating in the clinical and didactic teaching of medical students, PA students, NP students, and Addiction Fellows.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry.
  • Eligible for medical licensure and DEA licensure in the state of New York.
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Addiction Psychiatry.
  • Board Certified in General Psychiatry.

Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary: $267,900 (board eligible); $278,200 (board certified) based on 40-hour work week.
  • Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
  • Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000.
  • Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
