About The Position

Liberty Healthcare is now hiring Psychiatric Technicians for PRN positions for our newest forensic mental health program. Weekday and weekend shifts are available. The goal of this program is to provide rapid mental health services to people in need, so they may achieve improved behavioral health outcomes as quickly as possible. The program is designed to facilitate early access to services, eliminate barriers to treatment, and restore people to competency as quickly as possible. Services are provided to clients who are adult inmates at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Requirements

• Licensed professionally in California as a Psychiatric Technician (LPT)

Responsibilities

• Providing services to clients one-to-one and in-person
• Administering medications to patients
• Providing health education to clients
• Documenting health status and treatment progress
• Collaborating with security staff
• Consulting with physicians and clinicians
• Helping to ensure program clients receive high quality mental health services
