About The Position

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Psychiatric Technician who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As Psychiatric Technician, you will facilitate patient-professional collaboration at all levels of health care, monitor therapeutic treatment, recognize and value differences in the care team, and create a setting conducive to opinion-sharing. You will collaborate with the treatment team to develop patient care protocols and procedures, incorporate clinical guidelines into patient care, and use information technology to deliver safe and efficient care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years in related field.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Nice To Haves

• AA or BA in area of sociology or psychology preferred.
• Psychiatric Technician certification preferred.
• Crisis Prevention Institute Certification preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant or Geriatric Nursing Assistant Certification strongly preferred.
• Med Tech Certification preferred.
