Requirements

• Current California LPT License or LVN License is required.
• Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Nursing Supervisor - RN, the LPT is responsible for the delivery of Patient Care on a specific shift(s).
• Demonstrates knowledge of Nursing Theory, Principles, and Procedures.
• Applies Nursing Principles in the Clinical setting with skill, good judgment, and decision-making.
• Provides service to one or more age populations including child, adolescent/teen, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
• Participates in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization.
• Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Core Values.
• Supports the Organization's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
