About The Position

Provides direct clinical social work services to community psychiatry patients, including: individual, group and family psychotherapy; patient and family education, consultation, facilitates intake evaluation clinics; assists psychiatrists in medication management; and provides some teaching in area of expertise.

Requirements

Master's degree from an accredited school of social work.
Adhere to the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics
Licensed or eligible for licensure on the graduate level.
LICSW licensure by the Alabama Board of Social Work Examiners. License must be obtained with six (6) months of hire.
Must be self-directed / self-motivated
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
