About The Position

New Competitive Starting Rate of $19.00!! Threshold Rehabilitation Services, Inc., is seeking a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker for our Clubhouse Program. The Clubhouse model is a unique approach to recovery in the mental health field. Clubhouses seek to build on members' strengths, while creating a community where each member is wanted, needed, and expected. Supports members developing vocational, educational, and social skills through a structured, work-oriented model. The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker (Worker) is responsible for supporting the needs of the member in the clubhouse programs. The position requires the Worker to assist members with their goals as defined by their Individual Rehabilitation Plan. The Worker will assist member in following the work ordered day and support their goals of employment. The Worker will foster an atmosphere of congeniality that supports the Clubhouse International Standards and supports the needs of the members. The Worker will also conduct training on how to perform life skills such as cleaning, cooking, budgeting, and personal care. The Worker may work with other members of the individuals support team, including other staff, friends, family members, and/or community support members to design training, support, and interventions to ensure the success of the member and execution of the member's plan and goals. The Worker must maintain clear and accurate documentation as required by the Mental Health Program Manager to ensure quality service delivery. The hours for the full-time position are Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm, with occasional Wednesdays until 6:00pm, occasional Saturdays and holidays for special events. These are great work hours with most holidays off and paid starting day one of employment! Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, with preference given to fields with a clinical discipline such as psychiatry, social work, psychology, nursing, rehabilitation, special needs, or active therapy. OR A Certified Peer Specialist certificate and one additional year paid or volunteer work experience in mental health direct service.
  • Computer knowledge is a must.
  • Valid PA Driver's License.
  • PA Motor Vehicle Record Check.
  • Use of vehicle while working with valid registration and insurance coverage indicating you are an insured driver.
  • Pre-employment Drug Screen.
  • PA Criminal History Clearance.
  • FBI Clearance (if candidate has not been a resident of PA for the past two consecutive years).
  • FBI Clearance (Department of Human Services).
  • Child Abuse Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with individuals with a mental health diagnosis is a plus.
