About The Position

Chartiers Center is a private, non-profit corporation funded by state, county, 3rd party insurances and private funds. Services include intake, referral, outpatient therapy, psychiatric assessment, service coordination, substance abuse treatment, training and social rehabilitative services, crisis intervention, partial hospitalization, community outreach, day and recreational services for adults with intellectual disabilities, homeless outreach and housing program. As a Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker with Chartiers Center, you will work in the home and community with our program participants to help them to live full and productive lives.

Requirements

• An associate degree and 1 year work experience in mental health direct service OR A CPS certificate and 1 additional year work experience in mental health direct service OR A High School Diploma or GED and 2 years work experience in human services which must include 1 year of mental health direct service OR A Bachelor’s Degree and preferably 1 year work experience in mental health direct service
• Valid driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with a caseload of clients in their home or community to teach them needed skills such as independent living skills, social skills, and job search skills, and help connect them with supports such as needed living resources and social opportunities
• Maintain a weekly schedule where the majority of your work time is spent in face-to-face client meetings
• Thoroughly document client meetings to reflect work completed and interventions delivered, as well as client’s response to service and any client concerns
