About The Position

This full-time position is field-based with travel required and mileage reimbursement covering Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset county. About the Role Are you passionate about helping others reclaim their independence? As a PRP Coach, you are a mentor, an advocate, and a bridge to the community. You won’t be sitting behind a desk; you will be in the field, working 1-on-1 with adults and/or youth to develop the life skills they need to manage their mental health and thrive. From teaching budgeting and social skills to helping a client navigate the housing system, your work directly impacts their long-term recovery.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED required (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field preferred).
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience working in the mental health field or with vulnerable populations.
  • Compliance: Must be able to pass all background checks and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Skills: Strong "people skills," patience, and the ability to work independently in various community settings.
  • Certification: Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain once hired).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Direct Skills Training: Provide 1-on-1 coaching in areas such as financial management, job readiness, health education, social skills, and independent living.
  • Rehabilitative Goal Setting: Collaborate with clients to develop and implement Individual Rehabilitation Plans (IRP) that focus on their personal recovery goals.
  • Community Integration: Accompany and support clients as they access community resources, including medical appointments, social services, and vocational training.
  • Documentation Excellence: Maintain high-quality, clinical progress notes for every session that meet company requirements and Medicaid compliance standards.
  • Crisis Prevention: Identify potential barriers to recovery and work with the team to intervene before a situation becomes a crisis.
