Location: Charleston, SC. Shifts: (Weekdays, weekends, and holidays required). 7:30am-8:00pm. 7:30pm-8:00am.

Requirements

All Registered Nurses must have a current license in any state, territory, or commonwealth in the US or District of Columbia.
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with a bachelor's in nursing.
Must possess and maintain BLS certification.
Must have a minimum of two-years' experience (must have worked within the last six months) in a mental health setting.

Responsibilities

Will be responsible for the delivery of quality, age specific healthcare
Utilizing sound clinical judgement to ensure positive patient outcomes for Veterans.
Assess, plans, implements, supervises, teaches, evaluates, and documents patient care.
Responsible for direct patient care within the behavioral health inpatient unit and facilitates the appropriate plan of care.
Accompany and/or transport patients to appointments or procedures as necessary.
Manage care by promoting positive patient outcomes including the areas of medical and psychiatric emergencies, detox (withdrawal symptoms) and patient safety.
