SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK The Psychiatric Nurse provides professional psychiatric and medical nursing services within a Nebraska-licensed voluntary mental health crisis stabilization and respite program (CSRC). The Psychiatric Nurse ensures compliance with Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) regulations, the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act, and facility policies. T he Psychiatric Nurse plans, implements, and evaluates programs of care and therapeutic interventions to meet the assessed needs of individuals served. The Psychiatric Nurse supports stabilization, promotes wellness, coordinates care, and assists individuals and families in successful reintegration into the community. Services are delivered in a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and person-centered environment. Compensation : Salary is determined by total years of relevant experience.
