The Registered Nurse (RN) prescribes, coordinates and delegates nursing care utilizing the nursing process that is integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care. The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit. Requirements

The ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment is critical.
Current license to practice nursing in the state of Colorado (or eligible to receive or renew).
Graduate of an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred.
Must possess knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships and processes, age specific growth and development, limit setting, crisis and behavior management.
Current CPR BLS certification through American Heart Association, or ability to learn, this training is provided during training period.

Nice To Haves

One-year prior psychiatric experience in mental health nursing, preferred.
Ability to provide therapeutic care to patients with a variety of mental health needs.
