About The Position

Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan is a beautiful and state of the art 72-bed facility. Cedar Creek provides evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults struggling with mental health issues. Cedar Creek Hospital invests in our patients by offering an integrated medicine approach that provides the latest therapies including yoga, mindfulness, aromatherapy, music therapy and nutrition. As part of our success and innovation in the field we are seeking qualified applicants for a Registered Nurse RN position. This position supports our team as a Temporary Assignment for 16 weeks on 12 hour shifts, with the possibility of extension for up to 6 months. As a temporary position this is not eligible for our benefit programs, we offer exceptional pay of $70/hour. Current employees of UHS are not eligible for this program.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Michigan required
• Previous psychiatric experience required

Responsibilities

• Complete nurse to nurse assessment with other healthcare facilities and communicate with Internal Medicine as needed.
• Complete internal nursing assessments.
• Competent in assessing, planning, and delivering care for patients with co-occurring disorders.
• The nurse continually assesses and reassesses the patient’s medical and psychiatric status and changing needs.
• Participates with other team members in planning and implementing the patient’s treatment plan.
• Works with both adult and adolescent population.
