About The Position

The Registered Nurse RN coordinates and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with the interdisciplinary team in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. They oversee and direct the Mental Health Technicians on their units to provide for the safety and needs of the patients.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program required.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• Registered Nurse RN license issued by the State of Michigan required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with the interdisciplinary team.
• Oversee and direct the Mental Health Technicians on their units.
• Provide innovative and evidence-based care focused on patient’s individual needs, comfort, and safety.
