About The Position

As a Psychiatrist or DO, the Psychiatric Provider is part of an integrated primary care and behavioral health team to provide whole person care to our patients. This role provides psychiatric screening and assessment, diagnosing, and medication management to ICHS patients. The Psychiatric Provider plays a key role in supporting the Primary Care team with consultation and support related to psychiatric needs, including training and support around Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD). This position will also support the development of the Outpatient Behavioral Services, including psychiatric medication management.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited medical school.
• One (1) year experience in community health center primary care or community mental health settings required.
• Active WA State MD or DO license, and ANCC or AANP Board certification if applicable.
• Active DEA license and BLS certification.
• Fluency in English required: additional fluency in other languages is valued.
