Davis Behavioral Health (DBH) is actively recruiting a full-time Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the CRU located on its Layton campus. This position will also provide coverage for 1 out of the 4 shifts each week in the nursing programs across DBH. All new employees at DBH have a 6-month introductory period to assess whether they can perform the essential functions of the job at the expected level, within the specified timeframes, and are a good fit for the job. This position is classified as full-time, non-exempt. The successful candidate will work the following schedule: Tuesday 5:00AM-5:00PM, Wednesday 5:00AM-5:00PM, Saturday 5:00AM-5:00PM & Sunday 5:00AM-5:00PM Biweekly rotating shifts The DBH Layton Campus is located at 2250 North Robins Dr., Layton, UT 84041. The successful candidate will be offered a base rate based on license type and post-licensure experience. The hourly wage for an entry-level registered nurse is $34.50 . The exact starting rate for RNs at DBH is calculated using the starting rate + 1% per year for each year of post-licensure experience. The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients that have severe mental illness, are hardworking, can work both independently and successfully within a small outreach team. Further, a ll employees at DBH must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check as part of DBH's licensing agreement with the State of Utah. Failure to pass either screening will result in the termination of any job offer submitted and/or employment for any individual who has started employment while the criminal background screening is in process. Pending and/or open charges will likely impact a candidate's ability to pass the pre-employment criminal background screening.
