About The Position
The Richard Hall Community Health & Wellness Center is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse to assess, triage, and treat individuals with psychiatric diagnoses and medical issues. This role involves providing care coordination among individuals, their families, doctors, and other health professionals. The Psychiatric Nurse will be responsible for delivering person-centered, trauma-informed medical and psychiatric nursing assessments and interventions. Collaboration with Psychiatrists, Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs), Case Managers, and all departments at the Center is essential to provide comprehensive nursing functions. Direct care to clients includes addressing social and emotional needs, supervising medication schedules, and evaluating client progress.
