About The Position
Grafton is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for our Berryville, VA Psychiatric Residential Treatment facility serving children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental delays and complex mental health challenges. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) provides general psychiatric care and treatment to Grafton's client population (children and adolescents). The PNP assesses the physical/emotional needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and psychiatric conditions, prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment, and provides direct services as defined in the scope of practice that pertains to his/her license. As an PNP at Grafton you will spend 80% of work hours providing direct billable services, such as evaluations, medication management visits etc. This position reports to the Executive Director with a dotted line to the supervising psychiatrist. Full or Part-time schedule available.
