Requirements

• Valid DEA Certification license
• Valid PMHNP certification
• 3 years of experience in Mental Health Clinical
• Medical License (Psych-NP) in Florida

Responsibilities

• Perform initial psychiatric evaluations
• Conduct follow-up medication management visits
• Prescribe medications during follow-up appointments
• Electronically prescribe medications
• Engage in case conferencing with psychiatrists
• Order and interpret laboratory results
• Respond to patient requests in a timely manner
• Complete prior authorizations when necessary
• Obtain and record vital signs
• Complete all documentation within required timeframes
• Update clinical knowledge through education and literature review
• Participate in clinical and medical meetings as needed
• Maintain active Florida License to practice as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
