About The Position

MindGlow Health is seeking a part-time, fully remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner licensed in Florida to provide exceptional psychiatric care through telehealth services. The role allows for a flexible schedule, enabling the practitioner to set their own hours while delivering high-quality psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans to clients. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, skilled, and capable of fostering supportive therapeutic relationships with clients.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted license and certification to practice as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or 2+ years of psychiatry experience under supervision.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a psychiatric setting.
• Active DEA registration, NPI number, CAQH registration; Medicare number preferred.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Ability to work remotely and manage a flexible schedule.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, grammar, attention to detail, and efficient writing of medical information.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with telehealth platforms and technology in medical care.
• Familiarity with teleconferencing tools (e.g., Zoom).

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment to clients via telehealth.
• Prescribe and manage medications to alleviate mental health symptoms, monitoring for side effects and efficacy.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to address various mental health conditions.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with company policies.
• Participate in regular supervision and continuing education for professional development.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for clients.
• Foster supportive therapeutic relationships through effective communication and empathy.
• Educate clients about mental health issues, coping strategies, and self-care practices.
• Encourage active participation in treatment goals and empower clients in their mental health journey.
