About The Position

Professional Care Medical Practices PC ("Professional Care”) is a private, physician founded, nationally accredited correctional health care practice. Professional Care provides comprehensive medical & mental health care services in the state of New York. Correctional health care is a unique, challenging, and exciting opportunity for today’s medical professional in that it provides the ability to truly utilize all of your learned medical skills and knowledge on a daily basis. It is the perfect hybrid of Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, and Addiction Medicine; providing care to an under-served, diverse, and truly appreciative patient population. We are currently looking for a Part-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team and provide on-site psychiatry services at the Dutchess County Jail in Poughkeepsie, NY. This is a 20 hour per week position. Weekly schedule is Monday - Friday, normal business hours. If interested in full time we would be able to create a hybrid position which would include tele services at other sites in New York State!

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Board Certified in Psychiatric Mental Health.
Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York.
Maintain current DEA license.
Maintain active BLS (i.e. CPR) certification.
Maintain current Driver’s License.

Salary Range part time $70,000.00 -$80,000.00
