Requirements
- Certified PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner)
- Active, unrestricted state license
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with geriatric or long -term care populations preferred (not required)
- Prior experience as a Psychiatric RN or Psychiatric NP in a nursing home or similar setting is a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow -up visits
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Collaborate with facility staff and family members
- Pro vide compassionate, trauma -informed care
- Document care in compliance with regulatory standards
