About The Position
CMS Therapy Group is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing private practice. This is a part-time position (~10 hours/week) offering flexible scheduling and W-2 commission-based compensation. Requirements
- Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing
- Unrestricted license to practice in CT
- National Board Certification
- CT Controlled Substance license
- Federal DEA registration
- 5 + years of experience working in an outpatient mental health / behavioral health setting WITH CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS
- Experience treating patients ages 5–65
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications
- Collaborate with licensed therapists and other providers
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within our EHR system
