About The Position
Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Monte Nido River Towns Irvington, NY Monte Nido & Affiliates has been delivering treatment for eating disorders for over two decades. Our programs offer a model of treatment that blends medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting. We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to work at Monte Nido Rivertowns located in Irvington, NY. The PMHNP will provide psychiatric services to up to adult females with our residential program. Flexible schedule: approximately 10 hours/week. Most of the work is remote, with weekly rounds on-site. Pay: $60.00-80.00/hour depending on expeirence #LI-HYBRID
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Advanced Practice Nursing on a PMHNP track, at minimum, from an accredited program.
- Board Certified by the ANCC as PMHNP.
- Current license as APRN or PCNS, or be license-eligible.
- Must hold or obtain CPR / BLS certificate prior to providing services.
- Experience is highly desired
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial Psychiatric evaluations.
- Meet weekly with patients for ongoing follow-up sessions.
- Maintain current and correct progress notes.
- Psychotropic medication management.
- Collaborate with the full treatment team as needed.
- Communicate with referring providers and family members as appropriate.
- Provide patient-specific input for Discharge Planning.
- Maintain compliance with all standards set by agencies with oversight of this facility, and practice within the scope of a PMHNP.
