We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to collaborate with our amazing team of behavioral healthcare professionals and guide our clients in their recovery journey. Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner Certification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Addiction Medicine and/or family practice medicine.
Responsibilities
- Conducting history and physicals
- Reviewing labs
- Monitoring blood levels
- Sick call and preparing discharges (physician orders, scripts if you have prescriptive authority)
- Providing support and resources to the adult residential program and detox as needed
- Coordinating (with the help of the nursing staff) with the primary care physician and psychiatrist when appropriate
- Working with the nursing staff to ensure the medications are cost-effective for the client after discharge and completing prior authorization requests for medications
- Other duties as assigned
