About The Position
Psychiatric Nurse -Acute Care Unit Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) $2,500 Sign-On Bonus after 90-days MHS currently has full-time, part-time and PRN opportunities for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) on our 24-Hour Acute Care Unit (in-patient services) located in Springfield, OH. Alternating weekends and holidays may be required depending on your status and shift. Our 16 bed unit is fast paced environment, and prior mental or behavioral health experience is preferred but not required. We have both 8 and 12-hour shifts available. As a nurse on the ACU, you are responsible for the overall care and safety of patients assigned to the unit, a dmissions/discharges during shift to the unit, m edication administration, charting as required in the Electronic Health Record and s upervision of the MHT's assigned to you during each shifts We currently have the following shifts: FT (7A-7P) (7P-7A) PT (7A-7P) PRN-All Shifts
Requirements
- OH LPN license, active and valid
- 1 year of behavioral or mental health experience as a nurse
- Ohio BCI check (FBI check required if you have lived in Ohio for less than 5 years, or for working with children)
- 5-panel drug screen
- residential candidates must have a 2 step TB (or proof of prior TB) upon conditional offer of employment
