About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join Arrowhead Behavioral Health, a specialized inpatient psychiatric hospital in Toledo, OH. This role offers a highly competitive compensation package and a strong clinical support structure, allowing you to concentrate on delivering expert care to adults with psychiatric and substance use disorders alongside a multidisciplinary team. Quick Facts• Employment Type: Full-time, Employed• Schedule: Monday–Friday, day shifts (hours flexible) with some weekend coverage.• Call: Rotating weekend and nighttime patient call consultations for medication adjustments, and admissions orders. Requirements

  • Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
  • Active or eligible Ohio state licensure
  • Minimum 2-5 years’ post-certification experience preferred, especially in adult inpatient psychiatry and substance use treatment
  • DEA license and required certifications current

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric and substance use disorder care to adult inpatients
  • Perform psychiatric evaluations, develop and manage individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and behavioral health specialists
  • Manage medication therapy and patient monitoring
  • Ensure accurate, timely clinical documentation
