About The Position

As a PMHNP, you will play a crucial role in working with the Medical Director and physicians to assist in the stabilization process for our patients suffering behavioral problems and mental health disorders. Posted Salary Range USD $125,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr. Wage Commensuration The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Requirements

  • Must have a New Mexico Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)
  • Must hold a current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse New Mexico License.
  • Must have a Federal DEA License/Certification
  • Must have Prescriptive Authority from State of New Mexico
  • Must have Ability for Medicare and Medicaid
  • Minimum of 500 supervised clinical hours within the PMHNP program required
  • Must have a reliable source of transportation

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Medical Director and Physicians in facilitating the stabilization process for patients suffering behavioral problems and mental health disorders.
  • Provide diagnostic care and treatment, while focusing on psychiatric/mental health maintenance and wellness.
  • Utilize both medicinal and therapeutic interventions in treatment plans to help our patients.
  • Attend all Treatment Team meetings and actively collaborate with team to educate patients and families about mental illness.
  • Participate as an active member in Quality/Process Improvement meetings.
