About The Position

We are seeking a licensed and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team and provide amazing client care to adults struggling with mental health and substance use disorders.

Valid DEA license and ability to prescribe controlled substances (required).

Nice To Haves

2+ years of behavioral healthcare experience providing psychiatric care, including telehealth services (preferred)

Responsibilities

Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations for new clients (via telehealth or in-person) upon admission, including full psychiatric assessment, health history, and physical evaluation to establish accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Perform follow-up appointments (telehealth and in-person) for existing clients, including diagnosis updates, medication refills and adjustments, and ongoing care consultation to monitor progress and optimize treatment.
Deliver billable psychiatric services, which may include but are not limited to: medication management and observation, psychiatric diagnosis, comprehensive medical/mental health assessments, treatment planning, and coordination of care.
Prescribe, monitor, and manage (psychotropic) medications in accordance with evidence-based practices and regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with and provide guidance to interdisciplinary team members (e.g., therapists, primary care providers, case managers) to ensure integrated, holistic client care.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with all legal, ethical, and billing standards.
Provide crisis intervention and urgent consultation as needed within scope of practice.
